CEMA came to wish a Happy Lunar New Year, gave present to Cham people in Ninh Thuan, Binh Thuan province
09:34 AM 03/12/2017 Views: 2813 PrintOn the occasion of 2017 Ramuwan festival of Cham people (who follow Bani religion), having the authority of the Minister, Chairman of the Committee for Ethnic Minority Affairs, from May 22th, 2017 to May 26th, 2017, the Delegation of CEMA leading by Mr. Nguyen Xuan Chau – Head of the representative office of CEMA in Ho Chi Minh city visited, wished a happy new year and gave presents to influential individuals, poor family households in Cham community in two provinces: Ninh Thuan, Binh Thuan.
In the delegation, there are leaders’ representatives doing ethnic tasks of two provinces; representatives of the authority of commune which visited by the delegation.
At the talk with cadres, residents, Mr. Nguyen Xuan Chau highly appreciated Cham (Bani) people for the united spirit, harmonious living with other ethnic groups in the area, having “self-help for self-improvement” awareness to reach a better life, doing well the policies, law of the Party, Government in local area. He hopes that they will continue to promote the unity, help each other to reduce the poverty, reach to a fulfill, happy life and together build the new rural area in the future. Mr. Nguyen Xuan Chau also suggested influential individual will promote more his/her role and positive influence, encourage and make advantages for children, students to have opportunity to go to school, not to dropout making contribution to the build of homeland.
Mr. Nguyen Xuan Chau thanked the local leaders for caring, making advantage to Cham (Bani) people have a cozy, happy and economical Tet.
Through the visit, the Delegation knew the general situation of ethnic minority area and ethnic tasks of some localities in the area.
