The Prime Minister, Chairman Do Van Chien gave compliments, supported people in Yen Bai province who effected by flash flood

Information from Yen Bai province provided that, counted to August 8th, the flash flood on August 3rd made 6 people killed, 9 people missing, 11 people injured, 138 damaged houses (including 54 houses swept away and completely collapsed), directly affected to 192 people (mainly in Mu Cang Chai district).

The flash flood damaged 4,2 ha of patty field, 1,6 ha of fish pond, 13 cattle animals, 141 irrigation systems, two bridges, damaged kindergarten and primary school and some public infrastructures. At the time being, the task of rescuing, finding missing people of local military force cooperated with the force of Yen Bai military Command, Command 2 (Ministry of Defense) to deploy the execution. The force mobilized 135 vehicles, machines, transports to search people and property in area effected by flash flood across Nam Kim stream.

Addressing at the ceremony supporting people effected by flash flood, Minister, Chairman Do Van Chien assumed that the flood on August 3rd with enormous destruction caused many damages foe ethnic minority community in Mu Cang Chai district, Yen Bai province and Muong La district, Son La province. After receiving the information, with the affection spirit, CEMA raise money from 01 day’s salary of CEMA cadres, officials and CEMA’s expenditure to gave compliments, encouraged and became the shoulder for ethnic minority people in Mu Cang Chai district, Yen Bai province and Muong La district, Son La province. Minister, Chairman Do Van Chien sent his deepest compliments to ethnic minority people in Mu Cang Chai district; shared the pain and lost of individuals doing ethnic tasks with ethnic minority people in Yen Bai province.

The Minister, Chairman also suggested Yen Bai province to have an evacuation plan, support for people who live in dangerous area come to safety place. The Minister hoped the local, people will overcome difficulties, get back to normal life.

On this occasion, CEMA donated 200 million VND to people who suffer from flash flood in Yen Bai province. This is love, share of people working in ethnic task to ethnic minority community in Mu Cang Chai district, Yen Bai province. Personally, Minister, Chairman and his family donated 20,000,000 VND to Yen Bai province.

On August 8th, Deputy Minister, Vice Chairman Ha Hung leaded the CEMA delegation to give the 200,000,000 VND donation to people who suffer from flash flood in Muong La (Son La). This is the money of cadres, officials, employers of CEMA donating to support inviduals who suffer from the flood.

The Delegation also gave compliments and supported 6 million VND to two sisters: Song Thi La Nhia (13 years old) and Song Thi Hua (10 years old) living at Pung Quai hamlet, Chieng San commune who were injured and treated at Muong La Commune General Hospital. The Deputy Minister, Vice Chairman Ha Hung asked their health, encouraged their family as well as suggested cadres, doctors and nurses to take efforts to treat who are injured and help them to get back to normal life.

Before that, on August 7th, Party Civil Affair Committee, Trade Union in CEMA launched the Donation Ceremony for people in Northern mountainous area who suffer from the flood. At the ceremony, Minister, Chairman of CEMA Do Van Chien along with Deputy Minister, Vice Chairmen; leaders of Departments, units and organizations, unions donated up to over 400,000,000 VND.

After the ceremony, CEMA organized two delegations leading by Minister, Chairman Do Van Chien & Deputy Minister, Vice Chairman Ha Hung came to Yen Bai and Son La, give the donation by themselves to people who suffer from it to help them overcome difficulty, get back to normal life.

From August 4th to August 7th, executing the leading opinion of CEMA’s Leader, The Department of Locality I organized delegation to ask the damage of flood had caused in Mu Cang Chai district, Yen Bai province. At there, the delegation directly came to check and acknowledge about the current situation of recovering damage causing by flood in Mu Cang Chai town and directly support 14 dead people for 28,000,000 VND. The delegation also gave compliments, encouraged 07 people who were seriously injured and treated in District General Medical Center and donated 7,000,000 VND to them.
