Accordingly, the province will focus on effectively implementing policies to support production and create jobs for laborers, especially among poor ethnic minority families. In particular, greater efforts will be made to tackle lack of production land and capital, increase agricultural, industrial and fisheries production encouragement activities, step up the application of technology into production, and help poor and nearly-poor families increase production ability.

Localities will be responsible for increasing re-structuring of agricultural production in line with building new style rural areas, focusing on developing forestry production so that people can live on forestation and production exploited from forests.

In addition, providing vocation training and job creation for local laborers is among key tasks during the implementation of the resolution, which will be carried out by increasing links between vocational training foundations and enterprises, promoting the implementation of socio-economic development projects which use local labor force, and realising preferential credit policies in providing jobs for poor laborers.

Besides, northern mountainous province of Lai Chau will continue to invest in socio-economic infrastructure in poor districts and poor communes, gradually completing the rural traffic and irrigation systems, and helping poor families gain greater access to social services./.
