On the afternoon of February 28th, Hanoi, the Committee for Ethnic Minority Affairs (CEMA) and the Northwest Director Board (NDB) launched the Workshop summarizing the 2016 Cooperation Task Program and signed 2017 Cooperation Task Program. Mr. Do Van Chien, member of Central Executive Committee, Minister, Chairman of CEMA and Mr. Hau A Lenh, member of Central Executive Committee, Deputy Head of Northwest Director Board’s Standing Broad co-hosted the Conference.

On the evening of 19/4, the 2017 Vietnamese Ethnic Culture Day was officially opened with the topic “The melody of mountains and forests” at the Village of Culture - Tourism of Vietnamese ethnic groups (Dong Mo, Son Tay, Hanoi). The program was organized by the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism cooperated with the Ethnic Committee to celebrate the Vietnamese Ethnic Culture Day 19/4.

Morning 22nd January, Hanoi, the Committee for Ethnic Minority Affairs (CEMA) held reviewing-policy conference "Publishing newspapers, magazines for ethnic minorities in mountainous, extremely difficult areas in the 2012 - 2015 period" according to Decision No: 2472 /QD-TTg and Decision 1977 / QD-TTg of the Prime Minister. Deputy Minister, Vice Chairman of the CEMA, Le Son Hai presided over the meeting.
