The Government chief treasured valuable support and assistance of the World Bank in general and Ms. Kwakwa to the national development cause in Viet Nam over the past time.
Ms. Kwakwa congratulated Phuc upon his election as the new Prime Minister of Viet Nam, affirming that the World Bank stands ready to help the country fulfill its socio-economic development goals towards a modern industrial nation.
The World Bank would also hope to expand cooperation with Viet Nam in three major domains like climate change adaptation, private business development, and Government capacity improvement and anti-corruption, she said.
Ms. Kwakwa suggested the Vietnamese Government need to continue drastic institutional reform to create an equal playground for different types of businesses.
